Wow!!! we are in 20th century where we have advanced technology, Robots , sky scrapers, fly overs, pizza huts (quick meals :} ) , dance clubs, home theaters, modern life style and "DAILY DOWRY DEATHS IN NEWSPAPERS ".
So did the world really change?
How many of you support dowry system??? If So why or IF not so why?

Coming directly to the point....dowry is not a world wide problem...it might be a problem only in some of the Asian countries....
ReplyDeleteAccording to the latest stats there are less women in India compared to men...i think its around it is in the 1:3 ratio....and looks like girls are choosers unlike the past. so may its women's turn to demand dowry ;) what do you think so ?

Luckily, no one dare say that he is against to what R thinks... Lucky Him!!! He can never be caught...
Yeah Dowry, bribing, killing every thing... needs a new generation and a all new think process to change everything that we, the present generation thinks are going in the worst possible direction.
As the education of individuals, their parents and their partners increase, these habits tend to reduce. Just compare the trend in the last 10 yrs... So every learned individual will give hope to the one's getting the injustices...
But never the less, there are always the hidden foxes from whom you have to take care even if you didn't pay a single penny...

Yeh I agree to you adi...Its not the point of taking revenge, all we need to do is remove the word dowry from the thoughts and ofcourse implementation.

These days girls parents are spending a lot on their studies..in addition to that they have to blow out all the money for the rich marriages and have to get lots of jewels to the girl and in addition to that the so called "Dowry"...Is that like a girl in a family to just blow out all the saving what parent have ???
Girls! first try to be independent and be supporting to the guy you are going to marry financial also, so that the concept of Dowry can be completely erased.

ReplyDeleteRecently I attended a marriage and was discussing the topics "Dowry". To my surprise the guy said "I am not interested in taking dowry but it is a force from the girl's parents" ,so then i asked girl's father and he mentioned that dowry states our status in society :)
I was like wow....YES it is true that Dowry system has to be eliminated from roots and not sure to how far extent this blog will do !!!!
